Company overview
Invernaderos la Mezquitera SPR de RL de CV, recognized as La Mezquitera; is created in July 2014 by the agronomist Luis Alberto Espino Gómez and Edgar Alain Espino Gómez; brothers and partners, passionate about the field and agriculture, motivated by the growth in hydroponic agriculture in the area, are involved in this noble activity with the production of saladette tomato with the objective of providing this fruit to the national and export markets.
The road begins with the construction of 2 hectares of greenhouse in the year in which it was created, facilitating the commercialization of the production by a sister packing company, giving them the opportunity to reach a foreign market and positioning themselves among the favorites of the clients due to the quality of the product. In 2017, the area grew, increasing the production unit to 4.6 hectares, having the opportunity to offer sources of work. In 2019, the possibility of growing in the production area and having its own marketer is raised. The commitment and vision that its founders have were enough to achieve this goal; 2019 witnessed the largest growth ever since the greenhouse infrastructure grew to 9 hectares and what would be the packaging unit was almost completely finished. This gives way to create what is now known as VEGETALES DOÑA LILIA SA DE CV marketing part; in honor of Professor LILIA GOMEZ CUEVAS (q.e.p.d.) mother of the founders and EG GREENHOUSES SPR DE RL DE CV referring to the initial abbreviation to the surnames of its predecessors ESPINO GOMEZ.
Direct exports begin through Vegetales Doña Lilia from 2020, distinguishing itself by the quality of the product marketed among the different clients who have trusted in our work and service, JEM D INTERNATIONAL LP (RedSunFarm), MASTRONARDI INTERNATIONAL (SUNSET) , ERGO PRODUCE, KINGDOM FRESH, FRESH VEGETABLES, SWEET SEASONS , to name a few.
