This molcajete sauce is one of the easiest hot sauce recipes to prepare, it is great to accompany quesadillas, tacos, sopes, a roasted meat, in short, whatever you want the most.

Ingredients

  1. 4 tomatoes
  2. 1/2 onion
  3. 4–6 serrano peppers
  4. 1 clove of garlic
  5. Salt

Directions

In a comal or iron skillet put (without oil of any kind) to toast all the ingredients.

Once the tomato has black spots, remove it from the comal and peel it.

In a molcajete, put the roasted chilies (without the seed if you don't want it to be very hot), the onion, the garlic, the salt and grind until you get a paste. Add the tomatoes and finish grinding.

Taste and correct the salt if necessary, mix well. Enjoy!
